(one who RARELY posts on DU anymore, but I'm here daily,) I had to mention that Robert Montgomery
is the Patron Saint of the Classic Films forum. Many years ago, we, meaning the original posters in here, somehow
decided to anoint Mr. Montgomery with this title. I just had to log in to write this. LOL. I can hear Longhorn up in Heaven, hollering to me to make sure to give Robert Montgomery his due.

And if any of you haven't seen 'Night Must Fall,' watch it. Totally different film for Montgomery.

And how the hell are you?

Returning to the theme of the thread, thank you for continuing the tradition, and I'd add that Robert Montgomery will be back later this week in Haunted Honeymoon. See Wednesday's schedule.

Can't believe I've been around this place for over 12 years. You just can't tell it from my post count.
(And most of those posts were made in this forum!)

I'm doing great. How are you? I am still a devoted TCM movie lover. In fact, I just watched The Maltese Falcon
for the first time yesterday. Sometimes I'm slow to catch up on the oldies but goodies. It is a treat to see something that has been out there for years, and somehow I never got around to watching it till now. Loved it.

Speaking of loved it, LOVE the photo of our Patron Saint. Longhorn would approve. Dang, I miss that woman!
We sure had some wonderful times in this forum. We need to get it going again. Not just the movie listings, but
good old gabfests about said movies. There is a lot to gab about. I'll come up with something in the next day or two.
I've had more than a few questions rolling around in my old brain for far too long. It's time to put them in here,
where they belong. (And make more room in my brain for old movie trivia.)

We have newbies and veterans here, and I gather that some really long to get into discussions again.
