(13,175 posts)I have never heard of Marcus Miller - and this song is a damn rock crusher. Oh so badass.
I do know Trombone Shorty, he comes by the Lou pretty often and puts on a great show.
But now I have to get on the webs and get some learnin' about Marcus Miller.
This is why I love this forum.

(8,709 posts)English songwriter/musician Rod Temperton who passed way too young in 2016. He wrote Grooveline, Boogie Nights, Always and Forever, Thriller, Off the Wall and the list is too long for so many artists. Nice remembrance at NPR of his songs. https://www.npr.org/sections/world-cafe/2016/10/06/496857847/remembering-the-invisible-man-10-rod-temperton-classics

Learning a boatload about a genre I thought I was pretty well versed in.
