Coincidentally, shortly after I watched the first time I heard this, from the Traveling Wilburys

(9,656 posts)3. Holy Cow! I only caught the last half -- a great historical examination of our musical culture.
I couldn't break myself away from it and will soon be learning more about Mildred Bailey, Charlie Patton and others. I had no idea they had such an influence on the music that followed.
I'll look for reruns but may wind up buying the CD.
