Some Spring flowers

Taken a couple of days ago in Golden Gate Park in the Conservatory garden. The poppies were as bright as could be.

This was a close up of a begonia that I messed around with in Photoshop. I was thinking of printing it very large on canvas.

The begonia would be wonderful on a large canvas. Show off its beauty!

The December rains washed away my Poppy beds. I lost a lot of dirt and yard along with it. Took weeks to replace and repair.

Poppy photos looks like a magical land of giant poppies. Were you on the ground taking the shot?

I took the photo kneeling on the ground. I used my iPhone and got as close as I could and hoped for the best.

yard where the blades of grass were like trees and the flowers would tower over me. Your Poppy photo brought that all back to me.

Technically it is spring here, but it is hard to believe.

I love, love, love BOTH of these photos. Let us know if the canvas turns out as well as I think it will.

Very nice top photo and I really like your interpretation of the begonia!

We still have snow and ice on the ground. Sometimes I wonder if warm weather will every arrive! *sigh*

From further back it looks like a flower, but from up close it has an abstract feel to it.
