had a bad storm last night. about as bad as i can remember other than a tornado.
winds 60-70mph took out a lot of trees in the area.
this is one part of our fence. the poles were snapped off at the ground

(31,374 posts)Trees falling can be so dangerous. We've had people killed not far from us
who were caught out in a thunderstorm in high winds that felled a tree.

(130,773 posts)Had a big one couple mornings ago, no damage to anything I can see, and was thinking at the time how glad I am the cottage is 100? years old, having lasted this long, chances are good it will survive (notwithstanding climate change, I hope.)
