Bawlmer HonFest

Went to Baltimore today to take in what is known as The HonFest. A brief rundown of the HonFest and what it is from their site:

Think all summer street festivals are about the same? Check out HonFest. Located in the Baltimore neighborhood of Hampden, HonFest celebrates the working women who helped make this great city what it is.
“Hon”, short for Honey, is a classic Bawlmer term of endearment. For generations, it has expressed the warmth and affection bestowed upon neighbors and visitors alike by our mothers and grandmothers.

Some of the Hons.

It was a fun festival and everyone called everyone "hon" which was kinda weird but charming. It was a beautiful day for it too. Mid-70s with a very nice breeze to keep things cool, which I'm sure the ladies with the wigs appreciated.
