I wish that they would have banned all the motor boats from that area though. I am rather shocked that there are so many.

Those boats are great. I really like the last photo....if I knew how to photoshop it, I would get rid of those horrid motor boats.

but I enjoyed seeing the interest in today's event. And sorry, but I kept THOSE motor boats in, for perspective and 'human interest!'

since cropping all the motor boats doesn't show how big those ships were. I bet it was a lot of fun to watch.

and also gave me better understanding of the 'fog of war!' Lots going on, more of course with the motor boats and other extraneous vessels, watching the Tall Ships lumbering around, hearing the booms, and being at a distance (VERY slight, tho!) And now its utterly peaceful! 3 hours til sunset!

Its at my cottage, southern MD, at confluence of Patuxent River and Mears Creek. St. Leonard's creek is a bit north of my location.
