All day long gold finches come to drink out of the ant cup! I've never gotten a really good
shot of them, though, because I have to shoot through the window and every time--there's one now!!and it's partner--I grab the camera they fly off. I did get this shot about a year ago.

When turned upside down it creates a couple of shallow troughs that I thought might be good for the birds (and as it turns out, bees) to drink from.
