It has been a crazy week.

Two skunks in the chicken coop two nights in a row. A coral snake on the front porch. Two lost migrants. And today a fucking bear.

unfortunately the bear pix are really shitty (he was a quarter mile or so away from the camera)

but they are pretty small - about as big around as your finger and a foot or so long. hard to get bit unless you handle one. they also tend to stay out of sight, not sure why this guy was out and about.

they ARE gorgeous, for sure.

Still managed to stink up the car. I was taking my dog to the vet and she got very agitated because of the smell. It was gross!
