I can never get them on the phone at all? How do you do it? Any tips?

You don't think they are discriminating against you because of your Yankees logo on DU do you? Longtime Yankee fan myself.

Tips to connect: press ONE as soon as the number connects and the “Welcome” auto voice comes on, then press ZERO at the next prompt “Thank you for calling...” You'll need to keep cycling thru that process until the prompt after pressing ZERO tells you “all of our agents are busy with other callers, stay on the line, an agent will be with you shortly." Then you get to listen to bad Muzak for 30 minutes or so. Until you get that prompt, the auto voice will tell you they're too busy to take your call at this time. Ya gotta just keep dialing until you get thru. Oh, and the prompt alternates between a male and female voice sometimes.

Lately I have been able to get thru in 25 minutes.

Now, when you press ONE after the Welcome prompt, you are sent to a prompt that lasts over a minute. Pushing ZERO or any other number does no good. At the end of that long message, you are given two options to proceed. That is followed by a message telling you the lines are busy and they can’t take your call.

Bottom line: before this change, you could go thru the prompts in about 5 seconds before getting connected to an agent or bailing out and redialing from scratch. Now, that process takes almost two minutes just to hear they can’t take your call.

I'm so sorry you're having this trouble. Have you tried contacting your state rep.? A friend of mine got her issue resolved but I don't have any details of exactly what her issues were..
