Paula Dockery (R) tweeted yesterday that Nan Rich is helping Rick Scott.

I don't agree with her on much but she is one of the few thinking Republicans who isn't totally crazy.

She does not like RS and I wouldn't be surprised if she votes for Crist.

I have been respectful to fans of Nan but she isn't winning. She isn't helping. She can't raise money. She has no name recognition. At this point she ought to drop out and endorse Crist. When the Republicans like Dockery realize this and Crist supporters realize this, but the only person left who doesn't is Nan herself, then something is wrong.

Nan Rich would happily play Ralph Nader to Crist's gore. Do understand, with the exception of Alan Grayson, the Florida Democratic party is meant to keep the Rpublicans in power, so that they can make all sorts of deals and say "see, ya got half a loaf!" I would love to say that was a joke, but it is barely one. Of course, it says a lot about the Democrats as a whoile where we have a creature of that environment, someone who has prtoected her GOP friends, Debbie Wasserman Schulz.

I'll disagree inre Nan Rich, however. She declared her candidacy long before Charlie Crist and is under no obligation to withdraw. Although her campaign is short on money, she hasn't stopped campaigning... just last week she was making campaign stops in the panhandle. Further, she is Crist's opponent in the primary; she can't run an Independant campaign in the general election by law, so there's no possibility of her pulling a "Nader".
IMO, primary opponents are the best way to challange the dysfunctional Third Way FDP, and let them know how dissatisfied many Democrats are with their policies and methods.

Even when I disagreed. In fact I do believe her on this. I have always been notoriously for primaries even when they are unpleasant.....but I am so afraid for our state right now that I am wavering on my view.

Why is this going on NOW?? I'm livid about this! Rick Scott has to Go! And she should understand this herself! But this is FL & as I said at another post... THIS IS WHAT DEMS IN FL DO!!
