My nephew and his band were playing. The bar had a rainbow mural painted on a blank outside wall, and a local artist was helping festival-goers add their own art. Inside was decorated with rainbow flags. There was about double the normal Sat night crowds on the streets, and this particular bar had a larger than usual crowd that was very festive. Everybody was having a good time... gay and straight. I know several bar owners downtown and along Central Ave... they would die to have that crowd every weekend.
