The latest in my wife's unemployment battle.

After getting a new computer to replace the one that crashed right after she lost her job due to the virus, my wife tried, and tried and tried to apply for unemployment although the system locked her out, digital messages went unanswered and the phone number she was told to call never connected her to anyone, we finally, late last Monday night were able to print a paper application. She completed it and I mailed it priority mail from the local post office on Tuesday April 8th in the early afternoon. I wanted to have a tracking number because I don't trust Republicans. It was supposed to arrive on Thursday. This is the tracking information-

So at the close of business Friday the DEO still doesn't have her application. Somehow I don't think the chaos is the Post Office's fault.

Fuck Rick Scott, Fuck DeSantis. Fuck this shit show.

Rick Scott designed it this way.

‘It's a sh-- sandwich': Republicans rage as Florida becomes a nightmare for Trump

Privately, Republicans admit that the $77.9 million system that is now failing Florida workers is doing exactly what Scott designed it to do — lower the state’s reported number of jobless claims after the great recession.

“It’s a sh-- sandwich, and it was designed that way by Scott,” said one DeSantis advisor. “It wasn’t about saving money. It was about making it harder for people to get benefits or keep benefits so that the unemployment numbers were low to give the governor something to brag about.”

article of mail addressed to a Post Office Box can be at the Post Office almost a whole day and not be delivered. I suspect Repuke fuckery. Maybe the box is so full of applications nothing more will fit in it. I expect DiSantis to say something like, "the employee with the key called in sick" or some other bullshit.

As of this morning, the Postal Service is no longer showing an expected delivery date for the tracking number.

Just saying after my ordeal with Blue Cross/ Blue Shield. I sent 2 letters with tracking information to a PO Box. Found out later after more phone calls that 1 person monitored the PO Box once a week. I wouldn't doubt that DeSatan has figured out a way to have mailed unemployment forms to go to some dead end address.
Wish you much luck and patience on dealing with this.
