Pregnant horse brutally stabbed to death near American Falls

AMERICAN FALLS — A very friendly mustang that had been saved from slaughter was stabbed to death in a horrific case of animal cruelty near American Falls early Sunday morning.

The horse's owner, Kim Clark, said the 6-year-old mustang, named Dee, and several other mustangs were brought to her by a rescue group.

Clark said Dee was pregnant at the time of her death.

The female horse was going to be transported to a new home Sunday when Clark found her dead in the pasture outside her Fish Hatchery Road residence.

It makes me sick that there are people wasting this planet's air that would do that.

If they are caught, it will be a slap on the hand, then when they do it to a human being it will be such a "shock" to the community.
