Louisiana Governor Jindal To Hold Prayer Revival

And that can mean only one thing: Bobby Jindal is running for president.

Jindal has been working with David Lane, a conservative activist who has been tirelessly organizing pastors in early primary states while also warning that God will allow terrorist attacks to hit the U.S. as punishment for homosexuality and abortion rights, and Doug Stringer to stage “The Response: Louisiana” in January of next year.

In a “heartfelt message” announcing the rally, Jindal calls on the nation to “turn back to God” and “light the spark that starts a spiritual revival that will put these United States of America back in the right path.”

Another Gen X nominee. Where are the Democratic Gen X nominees. It seems that is all Republicans have except Romney. I hope at least we are looking down the road for future Presidential races.

to ask them to end his "prayer revival" which is a violation of the Seperation from Church and State clause.

And then force him to resign in disgrace and take the entire administration with him.

6. As an individual citizen he can

promote and participate in a prayer revival so long as he does not use state resources for the promotion, and the revival does not use state resources either (for example they are just one of many parties that can rent the convention center if it is government owned).

That being said I wonder if Bobby was aware of when the last time the good book was actively taught in Louisiana schools and prayers were led by representatives of the state. It is the same time that folks would have hung him if he dared date or marry a woman of European descent. Also he would have to be careful using the Whites Only fountain. Voting would also have been an interesting experience.
