LePage asked to resign over threatening voice mail to legislator

Rep. Sara Gideon says that if the governor won't step down, Republicans should intervene to get him 'the help he needs.'

A top Democrat has called on Gov. Paul LePage to resign over the profanity-laced and threatening voicemail he left a day earlier for a state representative from Westbrook.

Rep. Sara Gideon, the assistant House Democratic Leader, said Friday that members of her party from across the state “strongly and regretfully feel he is unfit to serve as governor right now.”

Gideon said if LePage is not willing to step down, she believes leading Republicans should stage a political intervention to get the governor, “the help he needs.”

“It’s clear there is behavior here that is not normal,” she said.

He's got to be up there.

And Matt Bevin and Chris Christie are in the running as well.

I spent several weeks there during the 80's attending the Maine Photographic Workshops, and found Maine to be a picturesque and peculiar place (btw, I grew up in Floriduh). The ordinary folks I encountered were pleasant enough (after a bit of warming-up), but I got many of the same vibes I knew all too well from time in remote, bible-belt areas of southern Georgia and northern FL. Never felt entirely comfortable.

Of course the lobster there were amazing and inexpensive, but you can buy them practically anywhere these days.

This is what happens when candidates on the other side insist on splitting the vote. For example, if enough Democrats decided to vote for Stein instead of Hillary, then Trump could win without a majority. In fact, that is exactly how Trump became the GOP nominee--the not-Trump vote was split too many ways, and the others were not willing to withdraw soon enough to prevent him from winning.

I hope you will give our fine state another chance. The people might be a little cautious at first but once they warm up to you you wont find better friends. And we elected and reelected Gov. Dickhead because of a liberal third party candidate named Elliott Cutler. Maine can be a very progressive state, we were the first to legalize gay marriage by popular vote, and have sent Edmond Muskie and
George Mitchell to the senate. Plus the trout fishing is fantastic!!!

WHO THE HELL finds somebody like him fit to VOTE for???

WHO THE HELL stands with this asshole and elevates him into high office in their state?

I'm sorry. Truly I am. But it has to be asked. This has to be pinned directly onto the voters. WHO THE HELL votes for pieces-of-shit like this? WHY ON EARTH do they see a jerk like this guy as being fit to hold the governor's office in their state? HOW ON EARTH do they reach a conclusion like that?

It has to be asked. It has to be taken straight to the source.

on your second question.

This "guy" epitomizes along with the other white nationalist running for the president office.

My Rant:

When this country is so stupid that when carnival barkers can make it onto a "stage" and then hire individuals from the Breitbart /Alex Jones ilk, and then have a campaign manager on the former Cruz mantra go on a cable show go on the Rachel Maddow, and deflect questions being thrown right at her to make him ( herr drumpftser look moderate with more BS) is amazing on its face

Then finding out from the last night show (Rachel Maddow) that same "Hedge Fund" "guy" by the name of Robert Mercer (Renaissance Technologies) is funding the site called Breitbart and then having said hedge fund money being directed new extremists running a major party candidate called TP (toilet and paper= trump and pence ) (Bannon) , and then having this campaign manager who use to be employed by Mercer (Kellyanne Conway) who use to be with the extremist senator by the name of Ted Cruz mantra.

And if anyone was to think about this for just for one minute a hedge fund guy sitting in Wall Street New York, funding these people on Breitbart, ie Bannon and Cruz ie Conway and her PAC.

While the Congress, which is now controlled by the likes of Eddie Munster (Paul Ryan) and Turtle Lips (Mitch McConnell) looks the other way, and think that herr drumpfster (trump) comments are out of line. an will still vote for him is just outright pandering to get a racists and bigot into office is amazing.

When he, Ryan or McConnell come up to a podium why aren't they asking him this question :
What do you think of Robert Mercer funding Brietbart and having people that were on the payroll (Mercer) of these people Bannon and Conway, and do you think Citizen United should be overturned

http://www.wsj.com/articles/renaissance-technologies-to-close-1-billion-hedge-fund-1444768099

If anyone with any common sense understood what this "guy" in this hedge fund and how Citizen United has created this situation they would fully understand that this country is now under attack by a white nationalist , lets not mince words here and Maddows guest last night has it right the media has failed to expose this, and if it wasn't for Maddow I wouldn't have known about it either,

Mercer and Breitbart.

https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2016/06/a-hedge-fund-house-divided-renaissance-technologies/

The media should be asking who Robert Mercer is and his hedge fund, and why are people on (wall street) investing in his hedge fund, and they should be exposed for this "stuff", is that what this money is being used for, to fund extremists sites.

And has for Lepage, Maine you have a problem, your state use to make shoes, the map of the country should have a picture of this "guy" with a Maine shoe sticking out of his mouth

I mean, LePage could come right out of a Stephen King novel--one of the nastier ones. Rick Scott, for all we know, *is* a member of the walking dead. Christie looks like someone stalking the Pine Barrens for human flesh. Brownback reminds me of Leather Face in his "civilian" appearance. Bobby Jindal walks the Bayous at night even to this day. Scott Walker looks as though he's stepped right out of his Pod. Is there any defense against them...?

Is that they truly don't believe there are consequences. And sadly in many cases they're right. But Gattine should file charges against le page and let the police and prosecutors sort this out.
