(I'll be walking and taking pledges.. if you want to sponsor just PM me.. I work full-time yet continue to give much of my free time working to end the military madness.. from protesting Condi Rice at U of M (risked arrest) and helped kids "fly kites, not drones" and that was just last month events)

We would love you to join us.

WAMM's Walk Against Weapons

Saturday, June 7th @ Perkins Restaurant parking lot, Riverside & I-94, Minneapolis - 10:30 am -

Walker check in 11 am - Walk Begins - 1.5 mile walk to the U of M West Bank, 11:45 am -
Short rally on campus, walk returns to campus

Women Against Military Madness' 7th Annual Walk Against Weapons this year will be a highly visible walk to the University of MN West Bank for a short rally and then returning to the starting point - 3 miles total.

We can accommodate all walkers, young and old. For those who cannot walk the whole distance, we provide rides along the way, and refreshments too! Breakfast with friends before the walk or lunch after the walk can also add to the fun. Besides Perkins,, Seward Co-op Grocery Store..has a nice buffet and is near by.

The UAV Research Group in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics (AEM) at the University of MN is focused on development and implementation of a low-cost, open source small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) flight research facility.

WAMM opposes all wars as a solution to international conflict and calls for the banning of the weapons of war, including weaponized drones.

We are calling on the U of M to oppose research on and the production and sale of the highly controversial use of weaponized drones, and to support an end to drone assassinations, which are illegal, immoral and counterproductive. This is a fundraiser for WAMM.

Participants are encouraged to collect pledges. FFI: womenagainstmilitarymadness.org
