Peter Wang and his wife were cleaning out a basement apartment in the Pond Path complex in Holbrook that had recently been vacated, when wife removed a couch cushion and found a 3-foot python, according to the Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

That is a ball python- very gentle, non-venomous. I had one as a pet years ago, totally docile. Unless you're a small rodent.
