City’s ‘First Children’ To Serve As King Neptune, Queen Mermaid At Mermaid Parade

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — The city’s first children were set to take part in the Mermaid Parade in Coney Island on Saturday.

Hundreds of thousands were expected to gather for the 32nd annual event, CBS 2 reported.

Dante and Chiara De Blasio were to serve as King Neptune and Queen Mermaid.
