GOP lose control of the New York Senate. Traitor Democrats come back to the Democratic fold.

Klein to co-lead Senate with Democrats

Laura Nahmias

ALBANY—Senator Jeff Klein and the other four members of a group of breakaway Democrats have reached an agreement to return to the Democratic conference this fall after the November elections, Klein and Governor Andrew Cuomo announced in a release.

Klein will serve as "co-leader" with current Democratic minority leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins under the terms of the new deal, an I.D.C. spokeswoman confirmed.

In a statement, Stewart-Cousins thanked the "unprecedented alliance of elected officials, led by Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio, as well as the representatives of organized labor and New York’s advocacy groups, for campaigning so effectively that the will of the people be properly recognized."

Capital and City and State reported earlier this week that both Klein and New York City mayor Bill de Blasio had engaged in talks over the terms of Klein's return.

Does he see himself at the person appointed by God to stop anything progressive from happening?

Or is it just about ego?
