Wow, I'm amazed.

I went to the DPS bureau between Wharton and El Campo on Friday of last week to renew my license and change my address since it was due to expire on this upcoming Sunday. While I was there I checked that I wanted my voter registration card also. It came in the mail today! I'm impressed with the efficiency of both the DPS and the Secretary of State's office. Who says that government doesn't work?

I was an election judge last week and a GOP voter was upset that the change of his address on his drivers' license was not reflected on the county voter registrar records.

Republican voters can be very rude. I have yet to have a problem with a democratic voter

driver's license, voter registration and SS card and you still get a voter card that is not an exact match. You get another state issued alias instead. I guess it is mainly this is a women's issue.

I've never had to deal with that issue. It's kind of funny that both my brother and I have first names of popes (even though we aren't Catholic) and middle names of Supreme Court justices.
