I belong to the TCDRS (Texas County District Retirement System) and it's very sound. There are some retirement/pensions that are having problems. But, I think part of the problem is with CEO's and other top heavy administration big-wigs who continually pad their pockets with HUGE salary increases. This also puts a drain on the pension funding.

How hard do you think it would be politically to fight the TRS? I tend to think it would be difficult due to the sheer numbers of participants it has, but could be dead wrong; I'd like to hear your opinions on the matter.
