Dallas Friends of Public Education blog spot...

... is where we go to find out exactly what's going on within the Dallas Independent School District. We find out a LOT of information that the Dallas Morning News won't allow their reporters to touch, I assume...

Find out who the players are, and how they could further benefit (monetarily) in the takeover of DISD...

Please vote for Democrats.
Please review the Education Policies of Wendy Davis.
Gregg Abbott's statement about his education plans are just more ALEC policies, in my opinion. All of Abbott's policies are destructive to working families, in my opinion. He wants to cut minimum wage so more families will have to seek help at taxpayer expense; or go hungry. GOP is wanting another food stamp cut-SNAP for CHILDREN. Is the PTA going to start bringing up sandwiches for children coming to school after leaving home not having eaten dinner and then breakfast? I could go on and on, but that is the job of Wendy Davis, candidate for Governor of Texas.

The GOP Tea Party has become a bunch of extremist.

But, to know that Democrats have been hood-winked into this puts a nasty taste in my mouth. I'll hold my nose and vote for Democrats, but I won't be donating like I've done in the past- at least not until I hear President Obama and Duncan denounce this public education takeover.
