Former Lubbock City Attorney Sam Medina indicted on 10 counts of sexual assault

Former city attorney Sam Medina was indicted Thursday for the sexual assault of his-soon-to be ex-daughter-in-law.

A Lubbock grand jury indicted Medina Thursday on 10 counts of sexual assault with a $30,000 bond.

The former city attorney stands accused of the assault of Angelina Medina between Feb. 1, 2009 and May 31, 2012.

Sam Medina is being represented by Rod Hobson, who called the grand jury a one-sided, secret process.
