16 hospitalized after crane collision in Mueller neighborhood (Austin), medics say

Two cranes in the Mueller neighborhood of East Austin collided Wednesday morning, sending 16 people to the hospital, Austin-Travis County EMS medics said.

Medics responded at 9:38 a.m. to the 1600 block of Robert Browning Street, just north of Mueller Lake Park near Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Eight ambulances were dispatched to the scene, medics said.

As many as 16 people were being taken to the hospital but three refused treatment.
