But I gotta concede that I generally don't take state Party resolutions very seriously--just something to keep the enthusiasts busy while the Pros run the party the way they damn well please.

...it was proposed but voted down because the consensus was that we didn't want Wisconsin to appear "too radical"...

I was at that convention...

it would have been fun.

but correct
resolutions are to make the delegates feel good about having input and then to be put in a sturdy iron box and tossed to the bottom
of the ocean--never to be seen or acted upon again
