The number of COVID-19 cases increased by 128, the state Department of Health Services reported Sunday....................................

The new cases bring the state's total to 3,341. At least 144 people have died from the virus, according to DHS figures.

The hospitalization rate remains around 30%, with 974 having received treatment in hospitals since the pandemic began, according to DHS..




DHS said 35,916 tests came back negative so far. The number of confirmed cases in counties increased to:

1,710 in Milwaukee County
334 in Dane County
209 in Waukesha County
173 in Kenosha County
117 in Racine County
72 in Ozaukee County
71 in Washington County
68 in Brown County
56 in Rock County
54 in Fond du Lac County
37 in Walworth County
34 in Sheboygan County
29 in Outagamie County
27 in Winnebago County
26 in Sauk County
25 in La Crosse County
24 in Columbia County
23 in Jefferson County
21 in Eau Claire County
20 in Chippewa County
19 in Dodge County
13 in Marathon County
10 in Jackson County
Nine each in Green, Door, Dunn and St. Croix counties
Eight each in Clark and Monroe counties
Seven each in Douglas and Pierce counties
Six each in Barron, Grant, Juneau and Oneida counties
Five each in Iowa, Shawano and Richland counties
Four each in Calumet, Portage, Vilas and Waupaca counties
Three each in Bayfield, Buffalo, Crawford, Kewaunee, Lafayette, Manitowoc, Marinette, Oconto, Polk and Rusk counties
Two each in Adams, Ashland, Florence, Iron, Marquette, Waushara and Wood counties
One each in Menominee, Price, Sawyer and Trempealeau counties

County health officials in Green Lake County confirmed their first case Sunday morning.

Burnett, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Pepin, Taylor, Vernon and Washburn counties remain the only counties statewide that have not announced a confirmed case.
