1. Absentee voting for the first time this year

Have early-voted in the past. Will put ballots in drop box outside city hall (me and Mr AC).

2. I'm still on the fence, but I thought putting the facts out there would be helpful

I voted absentee for the primary, planned on doing it again, but I got a card in the mail about options for early voting, so I'm thinking I may do that for the first time. And Colbert is right, this time around we really do need to plan how we intend to vote. Good for you that you're ready, this really is the most important election of our lifetime.

3. Backup plans are a good idea.

If I don't receive my absentee ballot in the mail, I plan on voting early in-person at my city hall. Here early voting begins October 20.

You can check the status of your absentee ballot at this link (among other things): https://myvote.wi.gov/en-US/MyVoterInformation

4. Thanks for that! All of us need to be informed so we can plan our votes

I was going to vote absentee like I did in the primary, but now I'm thinking I'll vote early, too - avoid the rush and any complications involving the mail.
