Get campaigning, UKIP's Farage tells Donald Trump

He appeared before 15,000 activists in Jackson, Mississippi, being introduced by and sharing the stage with Mr Trump...

.

Mr Trump, who is trailing his rival Hillary Clinton in the opinion polls, backed the UK's exit from the EU.

In a tweet last week, Mr Trump said: "They will soon be calling me Mr Brexit."

Mr Trump introduced Mr Farage as the man who "brilliantly" led the UK Independent Party's campaign to secure a vote on the future of the UK's 40-year membership of the European Union.

I am feeling very humiliated on behalf of some of my country's politicians; and Trump and Farage, separately and especially together, make me feel quite sick!

Hi,

All those people who said that Farage was/is not a racist. I did not believe that line for moment.

Moth to a flame.

As he is reacting to winning the vote*, not by staying at home and helping his fellow citizens find the best direction for our now more-isolated country, but by running off to assist the campaign of an overseas racist strongman. Oh, and a billionaire of course, despite Farage's claim to represent the 'little people'. It's about racism and strongman-worship (in combination, the essence of fascism) rather than independence.

*The people have spoken - or have they sufficiently? I cannot think of any other country where this level of support would be a mandate for a major constitutional change. In the USA, a constitutional amendment requires passage in both houses of congress AND the legislatures of three-quarters of the states. In Canada, it requires passage in both houses of the legislature and the popular vote in 7 out of 10 provinces. Even in Switzerland, referendumland central, there must be a majority of voters AND a majority of cantons. 52% of voters, exactly 50% of constituent countries, and no parliamentary vote as yet - scarcely seems like a mandate for getting us OUT!! NOW!! the way that some of the tabloids and their more whipped-up readers would imply.
