(14,736 posts)All I know is that I find the partisans on both sides of that dispute very off-putting.
I agree that Tony Blair should be removed as Middle East peace envoy, and did a little google a couple of weeks ago to see if I could find a petition on this very subject. Found one on the Downing St website that talked mainly about Israel. As my opposition to Blair has pretty much nothing to do with Israel I decided not to sign that petition.
Both sides (at the extremes) are a bit too much, and just feed into each other's prolongation of the conflict.
My problem with JT is not that she's pro-Palestinian, but that she goes into all sorts of conspiracy theories, like that the Israelis were engaged in organ-theft in Haiti.
Blair needs to be out yesterday!

(1,354 posts)In the past, there was the anti-Palestinian pro-Israeli crowd--post 1948 until early 1990s. Now the trend has reversed.
