Hillary Clinton

Just wanted to give a hug to my fellow Clinton supporters here.
I beginning to think she might wait till February to announce. She has scheduled another paid speaking speech for January so she might hold off a bit. I don't think she needs to get in right away.

(21,115 posts)Now they hate that I also created a bullet pointed list....with ACTUAL quotes and sourcing listed!!! They even tried to alert on me for "spamming" with Hillary's record on Democratic Underground! Epic FAIL!

(71,265 posts)I get that many here want a different candidate but some of the stuff said here about Hillsry and her supporters are mean.
I have already been called stupid and third way. I post less here because I just don't want to hear it.

(17,055 posts)I agree she can hold off if she wants. I kinda think that wouldn't be a bad idea, maybe. I trust which ever way she decides, she knows the score better than I.

(145,152 posts)I really and looking forward to her running and have teased my county leadership that I may want to go to the DNC this cycle. BTW, I have a couple of Hillary/Castro 2016 bumperstickers that the Texas party printed a while back.

(145,152 posts)One thought is that Dan Patrick may well Texas' version of Pete Wilson. Before Pete Wilson alienated Hispanic voters, California was a purple state. Wilson alienated Hispanic voters with some anti-immigrant proposals and the rest is history. Dan Patrick is a true nut case who wants to close the border and go after sanctuary cities in Texas. Lt. Governor is actually more powerful than Governor and Patrick may help motivate the Hispanic vote.
If Texas Hispanics voted in the same percentages as Hispanic voters in California, Texas would be a purple or blue state.
The State Party is far better organized than the last cycle but the Texas voter id law caused Wendy to perform below the 2010 nominee who was a weaker candidate. We will be investing a ton of time in dealing with the voter id law for the next election

(71,265 posts)I see some still saying they will not vote for her in the general. That is what will destroy the party.
