On edit, this Tweet from Peter Daou of #HillaryMen:
@peterdaou: Knowing he wasn't going to run makes #Biden's cheap shot at @HillaryClinton even worse - he handed GOP an attack ad https://t.co/MuGDrRu7qE
On edit: CNN saying without Biden, Hillary's polling lead over Sanders is 56% to 33%.

The party needs to unite behind her and crush the damned republicans next year!

(31,211 posts)best decision for him, his family & the party. His numbers began to soften after Hillary's stellar debate performance, and I think the reality sank in that he doesn't really bring much that she doesn't. That being said, I think he'll be one helluva surrogate out on the campaign trail, because Democrats love him.

(25,111 posts)Why include him in the polls when he had not even announced. I also feel this is a huge plus for HRC, she will garnish majority of his block of voters. I see right now a 50 state win for HRC.

(11,417 posts)amount if support Bernie has. There is no path to victory with only 20% of the voters supporting you.
Now all Hillary haters will come out of the woodwork to try and destroy her campaign.

(69,728 posts)Actually, when she said she was a moderate (which Sander fans continuously diss)--she was talking of finding common ground and getting things done.

HRC would, and will have the majority.

(31,211 posts)much of the reason they adore him is because he's never done that. I guess BS has come to realize that "Democrats" actually like our POTUS, and don't care to see him bashed by the far left & far right on daily basis. He's really becoming "a politician" at this late stage.

(51,378 posts)It avoids a divisive fight over moderate Dems in which Biden would eventually fail. Now Hillary will not have to spend money fighting Biden in the primary. She can save it for the general election where she will really need it. This makes her general election victory over whatever ass clown the GOP picks that much for likely. And that is good for the country.
