Something to keep in mind....

Michigan is reliably a democratic state for the most part. But it is also the state that elected Govenor Rick Snyder...

That was my response to a Sanders Supporter who had the temerity to say to me that Michigan voters were clearly more intelligent than those in Mississippi!

Just saying!

What irks me the most is the right-wing smears and debunked charges. Democrats ought to know better, but then I remember many of these people are young and have grown up hearing this stuff endlessly, and their only knowledge of Bill Clinton's presidency is through the right-wing media lens. There isn't enough time to educate this group, not to mention no means to do it in the first place. Sanders is right about one thing: the system is rigged!--the media and education systems that is, and they are rigged to benefit the Republican party.

He seems to do well in open primary states but I have to give it to him he promises a bunch of good shit for them. They just seem ignorant to the fact he can deliver none of it.

...does appeal to many who don't seem to understand they are playing the part of the interpellated/subjects/dogs in it. The head scratcher for me is that they think they are free thinkers and not beholden to anyone as they respond to the rhetoric in predicted ways and keep in touch with each other over their I-phones. Also, most enjoy white privilege.
