Hillary Clinton

their condescension and superiority complexes? Do they really think they are better human beings because they support Bernie? Are they hoping for converts or are they just thrashing around while their ship slowly sinks? I'm trying not to be my usual snarky self knowing there will be a time for us all to be civil but I just can't let some of that crap go unanswered. Any suggestions on how to deal with it? This whole "they won't discuss issues" is a red herring. I have listed why I think Hillary would be a better President and it usually ends in a personal attack-and don't dare list any of Bernie's many weaknesses.

But clarifying context on a picture of Bill Clinton is obviously super bad.

(14,525 posts)The first comment I ever made on a Hillary Bernie group, a very, very mild comment, I was instantaneously banned, called names, told me I'm stupid (I have an MS with honors), they said absolutely horrible things about Bernie Hillary, cursed at me, and on and on. They have made sure, absolutely sure, I will never, ever vote for Hillary Bernie!
You are fortunate to have escaped their wrath.

(9,494 posts)In some cases it will be folks who believe so deeply that they simply can't deal well with Bernie's inevitable loss. The most unhappy are the ones who are actually waking up to the fact that the person they love and admire so intensely simply isn't the person they thought he was.
I am lucky. I am not the type to "fall in love" with a candidate. I really like Hillary. I know a lot about her and I feel comfortable about how she learns from her mistakes, loves to get things done and can keep her cool under crushing pressure but she isn't a saint or a goddess or my personal savior.
I'm not excusing their behavior. I find it irritating and annoying and it make me want to respond in kind. Sometimes I do and most of the time I don't give a shit.
Sadly, Bernie is going to get a reward for all of this yet, he will deliver nothing to his followers for all of their pocket change and adulation. They are just at the very beginning of understanding this and they are getting upset. But they are a tiny percentage of the people who are voting for Bernie. 80% or 90& of them will forget all about Bernie by November, the rest were never going to vote for him anyway.

(5,624 posts)intimidate and scare me as much as drumpf. There is no discussion. No open mind. I hate the way many hatchet Hill. I have for the most part stayed in the closet until Super Tuesday. I've been a member for years and don't recall it being this toxic the last time. I don't like conflict and it seems to come by the buckets on DU where Hill is concerned. I keep telling myself I won't come here anymore but then I do..........I know I'm not alone. When Hill secures the nomination...........heaven help her supporters here.
