Why should a post like this be acceptable at DU (HRC group)

In GD-P
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein offers ‘collaboration’ with Bernie Sanders

Lots of Bernie supporters fine with the idea--the idea really being that if Bernie is not the nominee they should vote for her.

Trust me, there were no Nader fans here back then. They sneaked in much later.

The rules were thrown out the window years ago, and it's been "anything goes" since then.

They won't admit it but most of those doing the Bernie or bust are green party voters.

Some are honest about it but most are not.

It is completely unacceptable and it should be locked but it won't be.

There was a sentence or two in Skinner's post about how not supporting the Dem candidate against someone like Trump was completely inexcusable. They banned an old-time member who wanted to gather pledges that people would never vote for Hillary. I think they don't want to designate her as the candidate until it's official, but once it is, this crap will end.

Edited to add: I sure hope.

They are actively advocating for BS supporters to leave DU and join more friendly sites like jackpineradicals.

"That last point aside, what's blindingly obvious to me is if you're actually a liberal, you're no longer welcome here.

So, it may be time to jump ship and find a more liberal friendly website/blog out there. One where one doesn't have to worry about the admin's blatant pro-establishment-bias.

I know www.jackpineradicals.org is around, and many of the members are former long time members from here... but I haven't been able to adapt to the style of their site. It's a great site, and I highly recommend it for those looking for an actual liberal atmosphere.

In any case, I'm hunting for somewhere else to hang my digital hat."

I get the feeling this is a poster who has been banned once before and returned under another handle. Just too comfortable with all the in's and out's of DU. Something like this should have them banned again and give them the wish they want...to leave DU instead of mucking up DU until they find a more accepting environment.
