Tit fo tat.

Tit for tat is an English saying dating to 1556, from "tip for tap", meaning "blow for blow," i.e., retaliation in kind—or more broadly, an equivalent to an action given in return. It has related meanings and use as a concept in biology, social psychology, business, as well as in the mathematical area of game theory.

I just meant that 'tit for tat' was sort of a mangled version of the English "this for that".

Even though we are constantly told here that Hillary owns the media. That should tell you something right there!

What is disturbing is inability of a presumably adequately informed electorate to understand that those of us who say Sanders is unable to accomplish his platform in the current political climate, He not only doesn't have support from republicans, he doesn't have support from Democratics either. His "army of millions" has not materialized in the numbers he needed as activists to effect change. If they had, he would be on his way to the White House by now. Or, take the fact of his comparisons to, and admiration of, certain Nordic countries ignore things like actual population, history, political and economic structure, there is a significant difference between constitutional monarchies and a representative Democracy .

Then there is math--always a sort spot. Despite economics playing thought experiment with numbers to see if Sanders plans could work, the actual consensus is that they simply won't because of a number of next to impossible conditions that would have to be met.

Finally, on a personal note, My politics are feminist politics. That means social justice is my main concern, while I acknowledge the heavy need for economic justice. The early arguments about one "vs" the other were my first clue something was very wrong with the approach of Sanders. It's not an area I am uneducated in. I found the single-mindedness terrifying. Time told I was right, as much as that saddens me, it horrifies me more.

I keep thinking about "Animal Farm" by George Orwell, a book I understand Sanders admired. I think Orwell would have understood the cult of personality we seem to be involved in very well.

Sanders lost me with the millions rising up. It was almost like he lived in another world and the past 8 years of the Obama Presidency didn't happen.
