Could their bias be more obvious?
First, a 20-minute Bernie interview with Chris Hayes on his show tonight. Followed by Rachel trying her damnest to say nothing but good things about Bernie (only to be shot down by her guests). And to end the evening, a special 2-hour edition of The Last Word that -apparently - has been expanded to two hours for the sole purpose of carrying live a Bernie rally being held in AZ.
It's Bernie night, all night, on MSNBC!

Chris Hayes is auditioning for the job of press secretary for President Sanders, and Rachel is channeling Thom Hartmann and the Bernie worshippers at Democracy Now and TYT.

(19,348 posts)If Hartmann wants to know why lefty talk radio never took off, look in the mirror. The bias against Hillary is absurd.
Berns will have a net loss tomorrow.
Democracy Now is quite the embarrassment.

(24,392 posts)contrived dialogue he and Aaron Sorkin wrote regularly for West Wing.
Apparently, he doesn't realize that in the real world you don't get to write both sides of the argument, and that even the most-finely crafted oratory can be turned on its head by a response that doesn't accept the confines of said oratory's limitations.
His reaction to his guests tonight shooting down his premise about Bernie leading Trump in the polls was a good example of his lack of imagination.

(24,392 posts)Same old stump speech, now delivered with no enthusiasm, let alone inspiration.
BTW - who dresses him? Tonight's outfit is a gray button down shirt with a red tie, a purpleish sweater and a brown suit jacket. Yikes!
Lots of finger pointing!

(24,392 posts)and Lawrence doesn't like it.
They're pointing out that Bernie hasn't been attacked like Hillary has been, and that the only reason he looks good in polls against Trump is that he hasn't been attacked. O'Donnell doesn't get it.

(7,997 posts)After three or four different people told Lawrence why Bernie's numbers against the GOP would go way down once the GE began, Lawrence chose to pretend they hadn't said any of it and again stated how Bernie has so much better numbers against the GOP. smh
He's in the tank for Bernie for sure.

(7,480 posts)The Republicans are keeping their powder dry on him. If the Bernie Supporters think Hillary has been rough on him, wait until they get a load of what the GOP will roll out. It'll make our treatment of him look like a romantic picnic in the park! HA!
Satch59
(1,353 posts)Saying that he hasn't been vetted yet and I agree...the GOP want to run against Bernie and THAT is too scary a prospect.
Sorry, didn't see post above...obviously agree. O'Donnel is talking up the poll that has Bernie is beating Trump by 20 and the panel just laughed at him...

Shame on LO'D .. he should know better that BS is all talk and no action. He's not qualified to be POTUS.
BS would lose and there goes out Democracy. Beside he isn't the best candidate for President win or lose.

Walk away
(9,494 posts)And on the weekend I found I am liking Fareed Zakaria. MSNBC has gone off the rails! They are milking the Bernie ratings as hard as they can.
I'm sure that Rachel loves Bernie and Chris Hayes worships the ground he walks on, but... let me assure you that this is more about ratings of age groups than anything else. Some of my very best friends work for MSNBC so I feel pretty confident in saying, this is the direction they have decided to go in until it isn't profitable anymore.
MSNBC barely breaks even except for election season, terrorists attacks, school shootings or the death of super famous folks. Everything else is just filler. But Bernie is a goldmine! A whole bunch of the most preferred demographics tunes in whenever he shows up.
When he's gone....bye bye Bernie! Hello Hillary! They have to scrounge for those ratings!
