(4,640 posts)Good news! As we all know, what counts here are delegates and delegate targets. As long as she continues to meet and/or exceed her targets, which she will, it's a good thing!

(6,444 posts)We know that Clinton does best in larger, more diverse states. We know that Sanders does best in smaller, less diverse states. That's a pattern, and I see no reason to believe that pattern will get flipped upside down. Given that and Clinton's 300+ delegate lead, it's virtually impossible for Sanders to win the nomination.
Request after request has been made for someone to use one of the delegate calculators to demonstrate a realistic path to 2026 for Sanders. As far as I know, those requests have never been answered. There's a reason for that.

(15,951 posts)New York next month will probably give HRC a big victory, but conservatively speaking let's say she takes NY by 15-points she would still net 43 delegates more than Bernie. If she wins by 20-points it will be 50.

But they didn't report 100% in AZ or Utah. So maybe they are a little out of date.
On edit: WaPo also reports 71 delegates for Sanders, with 100% reporting in AZ and Idaho, and 99% in Utah.

(1,446 posts)instead of looking at the big picture. It would be like the Confederates constantly bringing up the Battle of Chancellorville, a major victory for the South, when discussing the Civil War.
