Rousseff Confirms Support for Peace Process in Colombia

Bogotá, Oct 9 (Prensa Latina) Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, reiterated today her country''s support for the peace process in Colombia and offer help for the post conflict period, when areas hit by the prolonged civil war should be rebuilt.
In the Presidential Palace at the end of a meeting with her Colombian counterpart, Juan Manuel Santos, the president stated that the talks between the government and Colombia-People's Army Revolutionary Armed won the support and sympathy of the international community.

Brazil has a huge interest in cooperating with the postwar phase, dedicated to reconstruction, We can help with our experience in family farming practices and infrastructure programs, all with a focus on inclusion. According to Rousseff such projects can promote the development of areas hit by the long war, the only one in the continent.

Both nations benefit being together, cooperating and developing friendly ties between our peoples and in specific areas such as trade and investment, as well as participating in this joint effort called here for peace, equality and education, the latter considered a key element in the bi-national ties.
