John Kerry knows Saint-Briac having spent part of his youth. He returned from time to time and met Brice Lalonde, his cousin, who was mayor of Saint-Briac 1995 to 2008.

According to many french lefty press, the new St Briac's mayor, a descendant of Leopor Sedhar Senghor, is close to the French far right sphere movements.

I assume that it will be a ceremonial meeting only -- and JK will certainly know everything he has to about this man. After all, Kerry has met with really bad people around the world - and been a very professional diplomat.
