Two Omaha business owners pocketed money they were supposed to have contributed to their employees’ pension and health benefit plans, federal prosecutors said Thursday.

Jeffrey Negus, 52, and Gregory Negus, 58, both of Omaha, are accused in an indictment of embezzling about $708,000.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office did not say whether the men, who are owners of Negus-Sons Inc. and Netal Inc. are related.

I read an interesting article this month about pensions in the AARP magazine. For many companies they were backed up but now the companies are trying to get rid of paying the premium and some are offering a buyout and this is rebuffed then the company is purchasing an annuity for the retiree.
From what was stated the pension will remain the same amount but when it ran out it was gone. They did not advise the buyout unless your health was bad and time was short. We really need to get Reaganomics over before we wake up and realize the 90% is completely broke. The GOP is trying hard to cut off Social Security, WTH.
