Vote republican, take two tax cuts, roll back regulations and take a permanently relaxing swim in

45 million gallons per day of toxic sludge flowing towards our oceans. Enough to kill all marine life.

copy/paste reply from same article appears to offer a safer alternative:

I live about 4 blocks from one of their mills. In my time here it has been Crown Zellerbach, Fort James, Georgia Pacific, and now Georgia Pacific/ Koch.

The Koch brothers gained control of our mill and others in this area via the Enron power scam which sent every mill of any kind in this area into a death spiral as our power rates climbed some to some 3 times what they had been/

When the Koch brothers gained control their first order of business was to attempt to bust the union by playing hard ball. Every time the union would refuse a contract that was for up to 30% less in benefits they would shut down a few machines open up the side of the building and move them out.

We were sure the mill would close, this made some very happy specifically the well to do folks up the hill who built their houses in the path to the smoke coming from the stacks.

But our mill, it seems is special, built in 1860, it has it's own hydro power plant which generates not only their power by that for the down town area of this town as well. It seems now they are saying it is one of the most profitable mills in the western hemisphere.

This is the State of Wahington and there are people testing the water every single day for the slightest violation but our little old mill makes the grade mainly because the people that work there know their stuff it is not uncommon for the union to blow the whistle on changes they feel will be a detriment to the community.

Interesting.

This is a mill town 19% of the population works in this mill. Down from nearly 70% some 30 years ago.

Becuase of this old mill we have a very great town, ball fields, public parks, some wonderful public facilities, and schools built by the former companies particulurly Crown Z.

Our High School name is the Papermakers.

We hate the Koch brothers as much, if not more than anybody else who has had to put up with their petty, greedy garbage and underhanded ways. But my neighbors, the mill workers, need my support.

A suggestion for those in need of alternatives to GP for products that wish to also buy and support american jobs. Port Townsend Paper is now a worker owned operation.

So, anyone can fact check this? I'm going to look for this label instead cause it sounds promising!
