You need to make these: Field Roast burger with beer battered avocados and garlic sriracha mayo

http://fieldroast.com/recipe/field-roast-burger-beer-battered-avocados-garlic-sriracha-mayo/

Ingredients

Package of 4 Field Roast Burgers
2 avocados, halved and then each half cut in horizontal thirds
1 cup lager (I used Red Stripe)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. paprika
Pinch of salt
Oil for frying
¼ cup sriracha hot sauce
¼ cup vegan mayo (I used Beyond Mayo)
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
4 oz. spinach
4 whole wheat buns
Burger product 1
Preparations

1. In a large bowl, mix beer, flour, paprika and salt and let sit for a few minutes

2. Meanwhile, sautee the garlic, mixing in the sriracha and mayo

3. Grill the Field Roast Burgers to your liking, about 3-5 minutes on each side is best

4. Dredge the avocado slices in the beer batter. Place the covered avocados into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.

5. Assemble the burgers by spreading a generous layer of the Garlic Sriracha Mayo on a toasted bun. Top with the grilled burger, spinach and finally the Beer Battered Avocados.

Cook Time: 20 minutes
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 4

I made them last night and fed them to XemaSab. Her reviews were NSFW. They're that good.

We paired them with Sierra Nevada Torpedo and sweet potato fries, both of which were good calls.

Sounds good. This would be a great cross post in the C&B Group. pinto Jun 2014 #2
Oh, and while the recipe writer used Beyond Mayo, I used grapeseed oil (purple lid) vegenaise. LeftyMom Jun 2014 #3

Yeah, I c&p'd the recipe. I used Sierra Nevada Torpedo (an IPA) because that's what I had on hand. LeftyMom Jul 2014 #8

I would likely use and IPA instead of a lager. And Red Stripe brewed in Jamaica is not vegan. The European brew is. Not sure what we get in the US.

I also used Vegenaise rather than Beyond Mayo.
