Ethnic cleansing manifesto...

https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/blogs/politics/15705-ethnic-cleansing-manifesto

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and head of Yisrael Beitenu party published on November 28 a new manifesto outlining the party's outlook for Israel.

The updated platform entitled "Swimming Against the Stream" posted on Lieberman's Facebook page demanded Israeli Arabs who identify themselves as Palestinians "... to forfeit their Israeli citizenship and move and become citizens of the future Palestinian state."

It is worth noting that the impassive "Israeli Arabs" or "Arabs" nomenclatures were invented by Zionists to avoid identifying those who remained in their homes - when Israel was forced upon them - as Palestinians. To their chagrin however, Palestinians keep reminding Zionists that "it was Israel that came to us; we did not go to Israel."

The Israeli foreign minister further suggested that Israel should create "a system of economic incentives" to entice Palestinians to leave their homes and towns that existed before Israel itself.

Despotic regimes, not modern Democracies, have always used this form of terror on their own citizens.

What a disgusting form of fascism.

Again, how awful your retorts are.

On edit: Really, shira. That's weak. That's like some shlub in America attempting to pay the First Nations to leave: something David Duke would spew out.

Classy.

Denmark's racist policy has been in effect for years.

Israel isn't even close to adopting such a policy, as only the outer fringes are making such noises.

Reactionary anti-Imperialist, anti-Zionist Leftists couldn't give a shit about Denmark's fascist, batshit rightwing racist policy.

Why? Because Jooz aren't involved.

You did this in another thread - accusing me of saying something I didn't - about RIBA harming British Jews. I think you can do better than making up all these straw man arguments. And if you're going to keep putting words in my mouth, we have nothing further to discuss.

Here, you are defending Avi Lieberman's manifesto by citing something almost similar if you squint in Denmark.

There are some key differences that Daniel was pointing out to you.

- Denmark's policy is an offer. Lieberman's proposal is a demand.
- Denmark's policy is directed towards immigrants. Palestinians are not immigrants in Palestine or Israel.

Do you regard lieberman's ideas as wrong? if so, why are you defending them? Morover, why are you defending htem with something that you hold to be an extreme right-wing policy? It's very strange.

I'm also not defending Lieberman.

There's no chance Israel ever adopts such a racist policy. If Israel ever does so, we can then compare to Denmark, which put its policy into effect against Muslim citizens years ago.

Avigdor Lieberman is the foreign minister of israel. If Netanyahu fails to secure his position i nthe supcoming elections, then Lieberman is a strong contender to replace him, sadly. If the only response you have to his awful ideas, is deflection and obfuscation...?

If you're against something, be against it. Stop kissing ass and making excuses.

Actually it's an offer. Not a demand. Your misunderstanding is a good example of how misinformed one becomes when relying on sources like the op for information.

This manifesto is disgusting, but what was reported here about it isn't really true.

The updated platform entitled "Swimming Against the Stream" posted on Lieberman's Facebook page demanded Israeli Arabs who identify themselves as Palestinians "... to forfeit their Israeli citizenship and move and become citizens of the future Palestinian state."

The manifesto actually says:

“Those who decide that they identify as Palestinian could give up their Israeli citizenship and become citizens of a future Palestinian state. The State of Israel should encourage this via a system of economic incentives,” the plan states.
