Dolan spoils the party

"Why did Democrats allow the cardinal to give a right-wing prayer? The party still can't speak truth to power"

http://www.salon.com/2012/09/07/dolan_spoils_the_party/

"The Democrats still have a religion problem. No, not that religion problem. They just can’t seem to get past wanting the blessing of a larger than life religious figure — even when that figure has called their policies “un-American” and depicts their core beliefs as antithetical to our most cherished freedoms."

Yes I have looked at the bigger picture and am pleased with what I see but a black eyes is still a black eye.

Everything at the convention that preceded the sermon was the two steps forward. The sermon was the one step back.

There he was, all pomp and circumstance ( I presume), but I doubt very many people were still watching!

means 3 million saw and heard that bullshit from a bullshitter. The networks design the programs for viewer retention, so if they lost more than that, they are all fired already.
