Web reviews claim ‘homophobic’ restaurant is a gay bar

Earlier this week, gay couple Colin Dewberry and Kelly Williams revealed that after enjoying a meal at Big Earl’s Restaurant in Pittsburg, Texas, a waitress approached them as they were leaving and told them not to return.

“{She told us that} here at Big Earl’s we like for men to act like men and for ladies to act like ladies, so we want you to never return. It was just {said} so nonchalantly, almost like she was reading a piece of paper,” Dewberry recalled...

So how does the LGBT community react? You be the judge...

Since the incident, however, the restaurant’s page on review website Yelp has been flooded with tongue-in-cheek reviews claiming that Big Earl’s is actually a gay bar.

One reviewer wrote: “I stopped in here last night on a road trip back to California and I have to say that it was grossly disturbing. If I had known it was a gay bar I would have never taken the family inside. BEWARE OF GAYS AT THIS PLACE!!!”

Another added: “I thought this gay bar catered to all members of the LGBT community, but I was dead wrong apparently. ‘Big Earl’ himself blocked the door wearing assless chaps and a ball gag around his neck before I could even fully walk through the entrance.”
