Report: Gay bears ‘enjoy oral sex’

According to a report in journal Zoo Biology, researchers from the Polish Academy of Sciences Department of Wildlife Conservation have recorded “the first observations of long‐term, recurrent fellatio in captive brown bears kept in proper conditions”.

Fellatio is rarely observed in non-human species, and is usually considered a stress response, rather than intended for enjoyment.

However, according to report, the researchers recorded 28 instances of oral sex between the two male bears across 116 hours of observations.

behavior amongst non-human species - explaining away (in the process) behavior which in humans is considered shameful or deviant by convention-minded people.

Thus, fellatio amongst non-human mammalian species is 'stress response', or 'dominance behavior' - not just 'fun'. Always ANYTHING but 'fun' or 'sex'. Except, of course, if the coupling is heterosexual - then it's, "See? Just like people!"

I learned long ago not to be intimidated by social scientists who use lots of Latin terms. If it looks like bears/dogs/mice are having fun, it's probably because they are.

He got hit on all the time by men because the bear thing. He's really sweet and not homophobic at all, but it happened often enough that my daughter and I would tease him. He was a big, brown haired and brown bearded ponytailed man--not classically handsome, but pretty cute. (I made him cut off his ponytail when it got too thin)

The funniest one was just 4 or 5 years ago, we were in a second hand store and the clerk was flirting with him shamelessly. I wondered off to watch, because my husband usually didn't 'get' it. This time he had no choice. He asked the clerk if the register was open and the clerk said "I'll open for you anytime"
