Anti-gay activist asks bakeries to make a cake that says 'Gay marriage is wrong'

Story here

Theodore Shoebat wanted a cake. He called gay-owned bakeries and asked them to prepare a cake, with this message on it: "Gay marriage is wrong."

It did not work as he hoped.

“Is this like a prank phone call? I don’t want to do that, because that’s hateful. I’m a married lesbian – almost everyone here is married or in a serious gay relationship. It’s bulls**t, I’m sorry.”

However, she eventually concluded: “If you want to be hateful, and ignorant, then sure, I’ll make it for you. I’ll put a big dick on it too.”

Yeah! There's that!

Unless I missed something. Wasn't his point that Gay Owned businesses would refuse to make he cake? And essentially they did just that. So how is that different from some homophobic owned bakery refusing a wedding cake?

I would have been more impressed if they said, "I think you are Wrong, but here is your cake".

Make that 200% of the price. Or 300%.

Make sure to get payment in advance, in cash, not on plastic where he can renege on the deal. Then, bake the guy the best cake they ever made, really high-quality stuff. If the guy declines to eat it, scrape off the message and give it to a homeless shelter.

It's a win-win-win situation.
