I would have included a few more "whereas" 's about HFCS, some specific pesticides, more about Endocrine Disruptors and antibiotics, and linked to more bad news about infant mortality and learning disabilities, but hey, it's a start.

I agree that it's overmarketed, overused and there is a lot of denial about its safety. No poison is safe and disturbing data about glyphosate are rolling in at an increased rate.
However, a lot of what is happening in the US is more attributable to depressed wages, worsening diet due to depressed wages, and lack of access to health care that is paired with depressed wages.
You're right that medical professionals need to get onto the problem of overused herbicides. You are wrong that it's the major problem in the US. Poverty is the major problem here, poverty that was created and maintained by 40 years of conservative government by both parties.

I concede that poverty, depressed wages, etc., are problems. I would even concede that poverty is a major contributor to obesity-related chronic diseases. Poverty doesn't explain the explosion in cancer rates, learning disabilities, autism, asthma, Parkinson's, Altzheimer's, -- I could go on and on and on.
The point of the post was an appeal to medical professionals to help start the conversation about what's IN and food and KILLING us.
