The Senate passed a bill Thursday to prohibit the use of designer steroids.
H.R. 4771, the Designer Anabolic Steroid Control Act, adds "anabolic steroids" to the list on substances included in the Controlled Substances Act.
Use of the steroids have been linked to deaths.
The House passed the bill in September, meaning it now heads to President Obamas desk to be signed into law.
The Senate also passed S. 2338, the United States Anti-Doping Agency Reauthorization Act, which authorizes appropriations for the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency through 2020. The agency ensures U.S. athletes dont use performance-enhancing drugs. The measure now heads to the House for further action.

(6,436 posts)a talk show a few years back (soon after they made steroids illegal) and he didn't even look like the same person. He looked like..... well, like a normal human. Even his head was narrower. But then, maybe a year or so later, he was back to his same monstrous proportions. Guess he found an out-of-U.S. supplier of "the clear", thus saving his movie career as an androgenic monster.
